AIRPORT
The most convenient airport to fly into is Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), located about 20 minutes from Venice’s main terminals and easily connected (info below). The next best options are Treviso Airport (TSF), approximately 40 minutes away, and Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), about 3 hours away by train.
TRANSFERS
If you’re arriving at Marco Polo Airport, you can transfer into Venice either by car or by water taxi. For car service, we recommend Venice Car Service at info@venicecar.it. If you prefer a water taxi, simply follow the signs for Water Transport after baggage claim and walk the short covered pathway to the docks. There, you can book a private boat at the official desk, share your hotel details, and you’ll be directed to the correct pier for boarding. The water taxi will take you directly to your hotel or the nearest accessible canal entrance. You may also pre-book through your hotel concierge for an even smoother arrival.
ACCOMODATIONS
April / May is a very popular season in Venice, with tourism about to hit its peak and hotels filling up quickly. With this in mind, we encourage you to secure your flights and accommodations as soon as possible.
While you are free to choose any accommodation that suits you, we’ve handpicked a few hotels situated near our wedding venues for your convenience. You’ll find them listed below.
We will be providing transportation from hotels to the event venues on both days.

For our guests staying at Palazzo Dogi, the hotel will be providing a 10% discount. In order to get access to this discount you MUST make the reservation through their direct website (not a third party). Once you complete the reservation, please forward your confirmation to c.bona@nh-hotels.com, identify yourself as part of our wedding group, so that they can apply the discount in the system.
